CALHAN SCHOOL DISTRICT FOOD SERVICE INFORMATION FOR 2022-23
Dear Parents and Guardians, WE ARE RETURNING TO THE FREE, REDUCED, AND PAID LUNCH PROGRAM we were on before COVID. BREAKFAST AND AFTERNOON SNACKS ARE STILL FREE FOR ALL STUDENTS! Elementary meals; PK-5th cost $2.75; Middle and High School meals; 6th -12th cost $3.00. *Any student qualifying for reduced meals will receive lunch for free. This change makes filling out the Free and Reduced application more critical than ever. If you qualify, it offers significant savings with school meals and may qualify your students for opportunities provided through the school. It also helps the school qualify for special grants and programs, including our free breakfast and snack programs, classroom equipment, supplies, and field trips. If your child chooses not to participate in the Calhan School Food Program, please fill out the form to help the school. The downloadable document can be found on the District website calhanschool.org, or paper copies are available at the main school office, 800 Bulldog Drive, Calhan. Questions? Please contact Deb Yirku at dyirku@calhanschool.org or 719-347-2766 x414. Thank you!
