2nd Future Facilities Meeting

We heard from some of you- Now we want to hear more from more of you!
Over the last 20 years, education standards, delivery methods, and infrastructure
required to support effective learning have evolved significantly. With these facts in mind, Calhan School District has begun the process of evaluating our facilities in an effort to answer this fundamental question: Do we have facilities to maximize the educational programs we provide and can we improve them to better serve the needs of Calhan School students and the community we serve now and into the future? Our ability to offer vocational career and technical educational classes, such as Agriculture, Fine and Graphic Arts, Cyber Security, and experience in the Trades are critical issues that need to be addressed as we plan for growth.

Purpose of the Meeting
 To solicit feedback from our community on
what you believe is most important in
addressing CSD facility and educational
needs
 To explore the need for new facilities or
renovations of the existing school
 To discuss funding options for CSD projects;
including the BEST Grant and other forms of
funding
