The Colorado Society of Mayflower Descendants Scholarship

The Colorado Society of Mayflower Descendants will award one scholarship in the amount of $1620 to a high school senior planning to attend any accredited college, university or vocational institution after graduation. Having a Mayflower ancestor is NOT a requirement. The deadline to apply is February 1,2019. Applications can be obtained on the scholarship wall in the main hall.

Alisa's Angels Scholarship

The Alisa’s Angels Foundation awards $5000 postsecondary education scholarships to Colorado Springs area graduating seniors that have demonstrated a passion for helping others. To be considered for a 2019 scholarship, you must complete the following form. The Submission deadline is February 1, 2019. A portion of the proceeds will go to the HS Girls Basketball team and the HS Boys Football team.
Admission: $10 (6 and under free)

Mountain View Electric Vocational Scholarship

Mountain View Electric Association Inc, will award several $1,000 scholarships to graduating seniors planning to enter an occupational training program or two years or less at an accredited vocational/technical school, community college or junior college. The winning recipients will be chosen through a computerized, random selection process. The deadline for this scholarship is January 15. Applications are available at www.mvea.coop or on the scholarship wall in the main hall.

Calhan Alumni will award $1000 Scholarship

The Calhan Alumni is pleased to announce it will be awarding a $1000 scholarship to a graduating Calhan high school senior.

Calhan High School 2019 seniors who are planning to attend college and have a parent or grandparent who graduated from Calhan High School are invited to apply for the Calhan Alumni Scholarship.

One scholarship will be awarded in the amount of $1000. Please contact the high school counselor at the Calhan School for an application or if you have any questions concerning this scholarship. Applications are due to the high school counselor by Friday, MAY 3rd.

The scholarship winner will be selected on the basis of their future career plans, previous awards, club, hobby and community involvement, academic achievements, financial need, and goals in life.

Electric Cooperative Youth Tour & Youth Leadership Camp

High School Unions are just 500 words away from a chance to win a once-in-a-lifetime all expenses paid trip. The first place winner will join over 1,800 students from across the U.S. in Washington D.C for the Electric Cooperative Youth Tour. The second and third place winners are invited to the Colorado Electric Education Institute’s Youth Leadership Camp in the mountains outside of Steamboat Springs. Elks 2019 Most Valuable Student Scholarship Contest

The Elks National Foundation will award $2.44 million dollars in college scholarships to 500 high school seniors nationwide through its Most Valuable Student (MVS) scholarship contest. Sixteen scholarships will be awarded to students in Colorado. The deadline is November 15, 2018. Application information can found on the scholarship board in the main hall or at enf.elks.org/mvs.
