Getting Ready for School

                                          Mission of Calhan School        

To create through a collaborative effort an accepting, supportive, and safe learning environment that encourages growth in each individual.  Our purpose is to promote high standards of educational achievement and social responsibility and to develop life-long learners with the skills, the knowledge and the understanding that are necessary to succeed in the 21st century.

Calhan School District is a rural Preschool-12th Grade school,  located all on one campus.   We are located 35 miles east of Colorado Springs, Colorado on Highway 24.

MAP testing is taking place beginning Tuesday, August 26th and finishing on September 5th.

Homecoming activities are quickly approaching.  Mark your calendar for September 13th and 14th.  September 13th 4:00 PM--Volleyball Game with Pep Rally and Bonfire to follow games.

September 14th--Homecoming Parade begins at 10:00 AM, 1:00 PM--Football Game
